The trailer for The Man Without Fear hit today, man and it is so satisfying. Frank Miller and Romita’s work is prevalent in the trailer alone. I think it’s incredible smart for Marvel to not include DareDevil’s classic blood -red outfit, it will be a refreshing surprise when it debuts. It will be more of a organic experience, it will raise the question – “is Matt a hero? or a Villain?” so when the outfit is donned, you will just see a man trying to make sense of his insanity. I’m calling it now, this show will be amazing. If you were under a rock today, check out the trailer, you’ll be glad you did.
And DC comics does it again…
DC is coming out with their next animated movie, Batman: Assault on Arkham. The new animated feature t is about the Suicide Squad attempting to break into Arkham Asylum and butting heading with the Joker and of course, the Dark Knight himself. The same writer(Heath Corson) and director (Jay Olivia) of the previous animated movie are still on board, and iconic voice actors such as Troy Baker (The Penguin in Arkham Game Series) and the one and only Mr. Kevin Conroy. Unlike the darker tone the animated movies usually take, this story is told in a different manner. It has elements of crime heist comedy, think if the stooges were extremely dangerous and were going up against Batman. It’s black humor chock full of awesome, the movie comes out on Blu-Ray/ DVD August 12. Check out the clip released from SDCC down below.
Judging by the trailers, this movie will be incredible. With the amount of Easter Eggs and Marvel never missing a beat this is sure to be a hit.
Finally! We have been waiting so for this! We’ve gotten plenty of clues of what they look like with the latest toys designs that were leaked, but we haven’t seen in motion, until now.
We even a plot summary for the movie.
“The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.”
I need to know what you think people! Check it out below.
Although we must wait for this movie to come out and rock the movie theaters this summer, we do have the opportunity to feast our eyes on these new images of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
From left to right, check out the crew, you have Gamora, who will be played in the film by the extremely hot Zoe Saldana, Rocket Raccoon, who will be voiced by Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, who will be played by Parks and Recreation’s Chris Pratt, the enormous tree-creature known as Groot, who will be voiced by (the man)Vin Diesel, and last but not least Drax, who will be played by WWE Superstar Dave Bautista.
Remember to tune into Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight for the full length trailer!
Update! The trailer is here, I can’t wait for August!
Here are a few new pics of what the heroes in a half shelf will look like in the upcoming movie this year. These pics feature April (which I’m sad to say doesn’t look too bad), the turtle van, The Shredder, and a possible movie poster. Let me know what you think? Do you think that they look too crazy and they strayed from the Turtles sewage roots or does Michael Bay and the gang look like they are putting their best foot forward?
Here is the trailer for the new DC universe animated movie- Son of Batman. It’s based off of Grant Morrison’s 2006 graphic novel, Batman and Son. I usually do not like the way Morrison writes Batman because I believe he is usually off the mark when it comes to providing the emotionally depth of the character. He writes Batman as if he is emotionless. While most Batman readers may love to him like this, I like when he has to regulate his emotions for a higher purpose. I always believed that’s one of Batman’s strongest qualities. Being able to be a strong character even though it’s apparent he he’s emotionally tormented. Morrison explores this for a change. While Dick Grayson, Jason Todd and Tim Drake were son like figures in his Batman’s life, they all provided a different dynamic and contrasting perspectives. Batman & Son was a great story of Bruce Wayne understanding a new person in his life that is so much like him. He has to understand himself more in order to teach his son to be a better and more compassionate hero. Batman & Son is a good read.
