#WhatUshouldBListening2 : 1am Night Edition

Hello all! This is officially my third mixtape. It was pretty sporadic, I just kept mixing songs that I thought would work together. There was no playlist of songs, no thoughtful process, I just went with my gut. I guess that’s the makings of a good DJ? I’m not too sure, but I do know that I want to get better and I thank whomever that takes the time out to listen to my music choice. I hope you enjoy it. The track listening is below.

Random Access Memories

Ugh, so i have been extremely busy this week with stupid job to not get the opportunity to rage about the new Daft Punk Album. Now many critics have been giving the duo’s new piece of work mixed reviews. many say its ambitious, different and downright strange but all have deemed it a lot of fun. Daft Punk not only showcases their influences from early disco and soul music they also demonstrate their understanding of music. It almost seems that their understanding of music is on a genius level. It seems that Daft Punk has mastered the art of sound. While listening to it, I got somewhat choked up because i knew my late grandfather would’ve loved this. If you love feel good music and appreciate music as an art form, you will enjoy this album.
